If everything that is presented to us has to be the truth, then we will never risk listening to anything again. It is our responsibility to seek out the truth. When we seek for the truth we will uncover false teachers. There are many wolves in sheep’s clothing. Believe it or not, many of those wolves actually think they are sheep. When the wolf believes it is a sheep, the wolf becomes even more convincing.
For some of you there may have been a time in your lives when you realized that some of what you had been taught was not correct. The teachings you had been presented were laced with poison. When you finally realized that some of what you were being taught was a lie you became disillusioned. You may have felt like you had to start all over again. You didn't know what to believe. But you pressed on in your quest for truth. You had to work your way through the deception that you experienced.
Once we work our way through false teachings life can be better than it ever was. We can understand things better than we ever did.
We need to set things aside that make no sense to us. That means we may need to wait for understanding. Eventually we can learn new things. The things we set aside earlier can now make sense to us because of the new information we have found.
We should not be resentful to those that taught us things that were not true. We should not be looking for someone to blame. We need to understand that they were deceived as well. Many of them still are.
