Our desire to sin will not go away by our sinning. The desires to sin go away when we say no to sin. We just have to say no long enough for our minds to be convinced that we are serious.
We must quit believing the lie that sin can somehow satisfy us. We need to be like Moses. In Hebrews it says, “He chose to suffer with God's people instead of enjoying sin for a short time. He thought it was better to suffer for the Christ than to have all the treasures of Egypt, because he was looking for God's reward” Heb 11:25-27 (NCV).
