When we make mistakes as people pleasers we want others to know it bothered us. We feel that somehow we need to show others that we care. We do that by how we react when we fail.
This reminds me of the football player that comes to the sideline and throws his helmet down on the ground after making a bad play. Many times it is only a show put on so others will know they care. The truth of the matter is others usually already know that they care. We need to worry less about what others think and more about what God thinks.
